How To Get Rid of the Eyebags & Dark Eye Circle

Having beautiful eyes is a dream for every woman. However, wrinkles, eye bags and dark circles around the eyes often interfere with appearance and make us feel insecure. These problems can arise due to genetic factors, increasing age, bad habit factors such as frequent rubbing of the eyes and staying up late.

Problems that can occur around the eyes that can interfere with appearance are as follows:

1. Dark Eye Circle

Dark eye circles can cause us to look un-fresh and tired. We also look older if we have dark eye circles. This is the reason why many people are bothered by dark eye circles. The causes are lack of sleep, frequent rubbing or rubbing of the eyes, not using sunblock in the eye area, frequent consumption of alcohol and caffeine, and can also be due to genetic factors.

2. Wrinkles

Wrinkles most often appear around the eyes due to tight facial muscles contract and pull the skin when we express. As he gets older, collagen and elastin in our skin will be reduced and cause our skin is no longer elastic. Skin becoming looser, and thinner. Lack of water intake can also make the skin dehydration and wrinkles are more obvious.

3. Sunken Eyes

Sunken eyes are also caused by fatigue, being sick, stress, weight loss, or lack of sleep. Sunken eyes caused by genetics or anatomical structure, are more difficult to overcome. Dry and dehydrated skin conditions can also make your eyes look sunken and wrinkled.

4. Eyebag

Eyebags are common due to aging. The ligaments and skin that support the fat under the eyes begin to sag, so the fat under the eyes appears more prominent. Eye bags will usually increase with age.

So how to treat and handle them?

1. Sleep enough and well

Have enough sleep is the main thing to do to help our eyes look fresher. Try to sleep 7-8 hours a day and not sleep late.

2. A lot of water

Drinking enough water will keep us from getting dehydrated. The skin will feel more moisty and wrinkles will be slightly reduced if we regularly drink water, which is about 2-3 liters per day.

3. Avoid rubbing the eyes

Too often using makeup may irritate the skin and cause eye circles to appear darker. Certain conditions such as allergies and dry eyes can also cause itching in the area around the eyes, so we rub them more often. Friction on the skin can cause the skin to darken.

4. Using skin care for eye’s area

Routinely use moisturizer, serum and sunblock in the eye area. Not all creams and serums can be used in the eye area, you have to use special products for the eye area. Moisturizers can help dry eye skin problems, thereby reducing itching and can reduce fine wrinkles. Serum can moisturize and brighten the area around the eyes, and sunblock can protect against sun exposure.

5. HIFU Eye Treatment

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) or RF (Radio Frequency) is a medical treatment using a device that can stimulate collagen production. This can help prevent wrinkles and tighten the eye area.

6. Botox Injection

Botox is a medical procedure by injecting Botulinum Toxin A into the facial muscles, which functions to relax the facial muscles. Wrinkles that are created due to facial expressions will immediately disappear or decrease after 1-2 weeks of Botox injections. This treatment has high success so it is highly recommended to do it if you have entered the age of 30 or have started to feel wrinkles on your face. Botox treatment can last 4-6 months after injection. Botox injections are very safe to do because they have been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to treat wrinkles on the face.

7. Filler Injection

Filler is a medical procedure in the form of injection of Hyaluronic Acid in the required area. In sunken eye conditions, filler injection is needed so that it can fill in the sunken area. Fillers are not permanent, and will disappear in 1-2 years. Repetition can be done if needed.

8. Thread lift

Thread lifting is a medical procedure that is performed by inserting a PDO thread under the skin and this procedure should only be performed by a doctor.

Eye bags can occur due to skin and ligaments that are getting looser with age. Thread lifts can help stimulate collagen and fibroblasts to make the skin firmer.

9. Blepharoplasty

For cases of severe eye bags, and skin that is too loose, surgery is recommended because botox and filler procedures are usually not very helpful.
